Women in Climate

The Women in Climate group in MCJ is a space is for women (cis & trans women), and we welcome non-binary folks who face some similar challenges to engage and participate. We also welcome male allies (cis & trans) so long as they center and focus on the experience of women.

The goal of the group is to support women working in climate. It is a place to share female focused resources, offer support to one another, and get to know female climate heroes across every dimension: technology, science, finance, non-profits and more.

The group centers around a monthly open call which follows the Lean Coffee format. Each call the group co-creates the agenda. Previous discussion topics have included: How to decolonize the climate tech VC space, practical tips for job hunting in climate, and how to communicate climate urgency.

We organize via the MCJ member slack that is part of the MCJ Membership experience and anyone is welcome to join us. You can find out about and register for our next Women in Climate meetup here.
